The GIHA Clinical Credential Ladder
Established by Sovereign Master Architect Daniel Carl Geary Jr., CCHt, CRSS. Clear milestones, strict malpractice safeguards, and rigorous client practicum thresholds guarantee the integrity of every practicing hypnotherapist.
1 Certified Master Hypnotist (CMH)
Awarded upon passing HYP 401 comprehensive evaluations. Authorizes students to conduct teachings and practice hypnosis with clients under GIHA faculty supervision.
Must maintain active $2 Million Aggregate ($1M / $2M) professional liability insurance listing GIHA as Second Insured prior to touching any client.

- Directory listing as Supervised Practicum Clinician
- Every client hour counts toward terminal CCHt
2 Clinical Practicum & Caseload
Students conduct clinical sessions in the Dave Elman Rapid Induction mirror room, Telehealth Classrooms, and pro-bono community rotations under Atom, Evening & Daniel Geary.
• Minimum 50 Supervised Pro-Bono Practicum Hours
• Minimum 200 Total Supervised Clinical Casework Hours
• Verified COI with GIHA listed as Second Insured
Students logging verified client hours advance to terminal board examination for CCHt.
3 Graduation Determination
Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHt)
Full 33-payer superbill billing (NUCC 101YA0400X), hospital & medical referral eligibility. Alumni dues: $65/yr.
Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt)
Academic graduate eligible for non-clinical consulting. May complete clinical client hours at anytime under GIHA to upgrade to CCHt.
Join the GIHA Association (GIHAA)
Mandatory association for all practicing clinical hypnotherapists. While corporate associations charge $150 to $300+ every year, Daniel has made GIHAA accessible to everyone.

For students between 401 & 501 conducting supervised teachings and accumulating clinical practicum hours.
